Cooking Gas Explosion Kills A University Graduate Awaiting Youth Service (NYSC)

 
    News reaching us from a reliable source,Mildred Amadi, a fresh computer science graduate from University of Calabar #Unical, Cross Rivers State,died earlier today ,following a cooking gas explosion which transpired on the 27th Dec,2018.

    In an interview with her cousin,Mildred which was supposed to go for her National Youth Service (NYSC),2019,had gone to make her hair in a multi purpose hall in Rukpokwu Rumuiwechiorlu,Port Harcourt Rivers State.

While there,a boy was said to have turned on a camp gas while stepped out to get a lighter. On his return,he was warned against lightning the burner of the camp gas ,since so much gas had already escaped.

However,the boy ignored the cautions,and told them that nothing would happen .But immediately he lighted it,there was a sudden explosion ,and Mildred was badly injured.

She was later rushed to Bridgestone hospital in Rukpokwu in port Harcourt Rivers State ,where she died earlier today.

According to her cousin, Mildred,the only daughter of her parents never wanted to make her hair,but her Mum insisted so she could look beautiful.
